Not to defend this man or his actions, but testing positive for marijuana does not mean he was under the influence of that drug. For a regular user it can stay in the system for 30 to 45 days. Most drugs exit the system within a few days, the half-life is very short. Marijuana gets stored in the bodies fat cells. Even for someone who isn't a regular user it can stay in the system for 10-14 days. So while I believe he deserves the maximum stating he was under the influence of marijuana may be incorrect. I believe in factual, honest reporting. That is the only reason I am making such a statement. Wishing you all the best
I had bleeding in the brain. It did some damage, but I can walk, talk, and drive.
Yes it will rewire your life, hit my head being thrown 70' as a passenger off a motorcycle. we were hit head on by a drunk. Got epilepsy, lost my license for 5 years due to that. I am pretty much over it but, I still live with the repercussions, get confused, do stupid things, headaches that I have to stay away from vehicles + work, go to bed for a few hours hoping to feel better.
@@aaa7189 i know it seems nearly impossible, but i know what can heal your brain/head trauma

You're awful Murphy
Agreed, it's the lack of parenting, cell phones, and social media!
so sorry.... What a needless tragedy.
Hold his ass accountable and give him the maximum and make sure his sentence is reported on the news to deter others.
Dang someone trying HARD to defend their love/hard on for the weed. Stop trying so hard dog. U probably get boners just thinking about your precious weed.
Well they did find a bong in the vehicle, a one hitter with residue, and other paraphernalia with residue.
@@abradic you act like this is unheard of. That NHTSA notes that on average 99 fatalities every day from a car accident. There are 7,507 people injured in the United States in car accidents every day. That number is high.
@@fitnesspoint2006 ??? What are you even talking about? How am I acting like this is unheard of? The original post was saying that testing positive for marijuana doesn’t necessarily mean he was under the influence of it, or high at the time of the accident. It’s possible he’s right, but then finding a bong in his vehicle, a one hitter with residue, and other paraphernalia with residue paints a different picture. The lawyers will argue that charge, as well as the levels the test detected. Sadly this isn’t unheard of, I never suggested it was.
If the guy EVER sees the light of day again the justice system has failed. I feel terrible for his parents....and ofcourse the victim and all of his loved ones and friends.... :(
He must be charged with murder.
No, champ, you are wrong. But, where did you get your law degree?
Nahhh ya dont say user-82x
Deliberately charging him with a crime that the evidence won't prove is an interesting strategy to help him go free. Are you his friend?

The young man is responsible for the death of the other young man, but a murder charge would have the case decided in his favor.
Legally, he didn’t commit murder. Morally, probably.
Of course the offenders always survive.
122 MPH? Did he install a flux capacitor in his Mustang? 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I thought it was a woman !
He will be after a few months in prison. Someone's gonna turn that guy into Connie Chung
See how fast you can go in prison.
Cannabis does NOT cause this type of behavior.
There's NO ROOM for IRRESPONSIBILITY; RECKLESS drivers like this Asian youth. Apology or excuses won't repair or restore life. Kim wants to be judged/sentenced without bail/parole, because he NEEDS a Restricted freedom/set boundary.

This is what will happen on a wider scale across the U.S. now that the government is talking about dropping the classification of Marijuana. State by state they’re legalizing it recreationally why? To keep this generation high and stupid while all of their rights are taken away? What’s going into the weed? Back in my day the strains were NOTHING like these today. I’ve been told they’re toxic.
@ShaylaC8791 You've been told wrong. The science today is incredible, you are regurgitating a fake narrative. Furthermore this incident has zero to do with marijuana and everything to do with Alcohol (the most dangerous, destructive drug on the planet without question).
@@squallie78
I’m not regurgitating anything. I simply made a statement about what a concern is of lots of people.
It’s obvious you are some sort of connoisseur or aficionado of weed I am not. I don’t do drugs of any kind as is my right. I am a child of the 70’s and I saw first hand how New York was then. It has returned to that with weed smoke EVERYWHERE in public. It stinks and is disrespectful to use in the open where everyone walks past. Peoples drug usage should not affect others health. After all isn’t that why Biden so called is banning Menthol cigarettes?
So since you know a lot about weed and have so much to add on the subject why have the Dutch shut down some of the weed coffee houses and in the Old City Centre banned weed altogether if it’s such a safe drug to offer to the masses? There is even talk of tourists being banned from the cannabis cafes as well.
Add btw did you happen to notice his blood alcohol level? It was 0.088 wasn’t that a hair above the federal legal limit of.08? Also that he had a bong and weed papers found in the rubble?
@ShaylaC8791 Your term is 'afficionado -' My doctor who prescribes it simply refers to me as a 'patient.' Kamala likes a Newport 100 after her and Joe get blunted so that's why they keep Menthols around. I also do not do ANY drugs of any kind including ALCOHOL which should be illegal.
Yep, done on purpose so they can begin the one world order!
coming from a korean family, i feel so bad for that dad. i know he is feeling so much shame right now. i put my parents through a lot but i can't imagine how hard it is on his family knowing he's not only on drugs but killed someone. rest in peace to the victim
whoever allows automobiles to be manufactured and sold, capable of exceeding 65 mph shows a disregard for human life. todays vehicles are the equivalent of military assault weapons. USA is a sick twisted society
A whole bunch of people that are not allowed here legally buy cars and no insurance, and lots and lots of damage.
Michigan gives undocumented illegal immigrants driver's license, go figure that. Goggle that. 🤬🤬
Every single car goes 120 miles an hour so it does not matter who the hell buys them and we will sell you alcohol
@sallyvella7012
This is just terrible. That handsome young man gone way too soon.
In My state many people have had their vehicles hit some multiple times by illegal migrants with no insurance, registration or drivers license. The cops all let them just walk away with no repercussions. And guess who pays for all damages? Not the illegal. There are even some illegals out here drinking and driving! 😳 Why is this blatant disrespect allowed to go unchecked in our country? My fear is that in the name of being PC states are not reporting these types of horrible accidents unless they result in tragic loss of life.
they're americans bro
Korean Americans generally have much more education and wealth than whites and certainly Hispanics so what r u talking about? Who said he is illegal? Get an education.
.08 wtf he wasnt that drunk..ge was just driving like a fkn 🤡

Put him in prison for life
that dude needs to be atleast 30 years locked away & a life long driver license ban!
