Not to defend this man or his actions, but testing positive for marijuana does not mean he was under the influence of that drug. For a regular user it can stay in the system for 30 to 45 days. Most drugs exit the system within a few days, the half-life is very short. Marijuana gets stored in the bodies fat cells. Even for someone who isn't a regular user it can stay in the system for 10-14 days. So while I believe he deserves the maximum stating he was under the influence of marijuana may be incorrect. I believe in factual, honest reporting. That is the only reason I am making such a statement. Hold his ass accountable and give him the maximum and make sure his sentence is reported on the news to deter others.

I’m not regurgitating anything. I simply made a statement about what a concern is of lots of people.
It’s obvious you are some sort of connoisseur or aficionado of weed I am not. I don’t do drugs of any kind as is my right. I am a child of the 70’s and I saw first hand how New York was then. It has returned to that with weed smoke EVERYWHERE in public. It stinks and is disrespectful to use in the open where everyone walks past. Peoples drug usage should not affect others health. After all isn’t that why Biden so called is banning Menthol cigarettes?
So since you know a lot about weed and have so much to add on the subject why have the Dutch shut down some of the weed coffee houses and in the Old City Centre banned weed altogether if it’s such a safe drug to offer to the masses? There is even talk of tourists being banned from the cannabis cafes as well.
